Wengen’s very own Mary Poppins! We can’t say enough wonderful things about Mary Anne and her childcare service. She is deeply experienced with children of all ages, and it shows immediately. She also used to run the tourist office daycare before it closed, which gave us even more confidence. Wengen was the midpoint of our vacation with our rambunctious 2 and 4-year-old, and Mary Anne came to our Airbnb to watch them for both an evening and a day so we could get a much-needed break. From the moment she arrived, we felt complete trust. Our kids were instantly drawn to her energy. She brought toys, cooked pancakes with them, explored town, saw turtles, and both kids came back in the best moods. They keep asking when she’s coming back so they can do it all over again.

As always Mary Anne had a lovely day with all 5 children. They even made lovely crafts, where she found the time is still a mistery to me. And she went out of her way to help us out on her free day which was great. Thanks Mary Anne!

Mary Anne watched our 8-month old daughter for 3 days while we were traveling in Switzerland. She was amazing, caring, and reassuring. It was so wonderful being able to head out to the mountains and enjoy knowing that our daughter was in safe hands the entire time. We loved the updates Mary Anne sent us throughout the day, she was extremely organized and communicative, and it was such a pleasure to work with her and have her care for our daughter. Mary Anne took care of four children aged between 7 and 12 on a joint family holiday so we could celebrate a birthday. From the first contact, communication was incredibly smooth and professional and as soon as she arrived, she had our children captivated! Warm, funny and caring, all while respecting our boundaries, she built immediate rapport with parents and children alike. Couldn’t recommend more highly!
